Guiding Star

I’ve lost my way a hundred times already, I’ve run from shadows stretching down the road. But every time I fear the dark around me, That shining point reminds me: I’m not alone. Storms rise, and doubt begins to whisper, Trying to tell me I should turn around. But when I lift my eyes above the chaos, I see my star, and suddenly I’m found. Maybe the climb is steeper than I wanted, Maybe the night is colder than I planned. But hope shines brightest when the road is darkest — And there’s my star again, reaching out its hand.
