DELETING YOUR DATA

How to ask for data about you to be deleted, and what there is to delete. · Last updated October 2026

How to ask

Write to me through the contact form and say you want your data deleted. Mention the email address you used, so I can find what relates to you.

I deal with it and confirm by email, within 30 days at the outside. There is no special form, no account to create and nothing to prove.

What there is to delete

In practice, one thing: messages you have sent me through the contact form, along with the name and email address that came with them. They exist in my mailbox and as a copy on the server. Both go.

Nothing else can be traced to you. The visit counter stores neither your IP address nor your browser — only a salted code that changes every day — so there is no way to find your rows and erase them, for me or for anyone. The privacy page explains how that works.

This site has no accounts, no login and no mailing list, so there is no profile to delete.

If I say no

I cannot picture a case where I would refuse, but if one came up I would give you the reason in writing rather than leave the request unanswered.
